Would the PS4 be performing as well as it is if the PS4 is as powerful as the Wii U and the Wii U is the most powerful console. Same games, ect. Just different power.

Fuck no. No one would want the ps4 if it were as whack as the wii u. There would be no need to purchase one when you could just stick with your ps3. The upgrade in power is the entire selling point of new generation hardware. Always has been, always will be.

Well, the PS4 would be $200 at that performance. And it would recieve all the third party games still.

If the ps4 was weaker than the wiiU, the gap would be so minimal that Sony may as well name it the ps3 not so hard to code edition (if they use the x86 that is)

The PS4 wouldn't sell like it is right now if it was weaker hardware. The upgrade would be too incremental for PS3/360 owners and the Xbox One would take its market. The Wii U on the other hand would have sold far better than it has as it would have been out early, a huge upgrade from Wii, and attract PS3/360 users.

You know, I didn't even consider the power of the PS3 compared to the Wii U. I'd have to change my vote. Maybe if the PS4 had some sort of "Gamecube to Wii" type thingy to hookgamers despite the miniscule jump in power. The OP specifically said everything remains the same except power so no.
