I'm far from being super excited for this game. Mainly because I've had my share of platformers on WiiU. But I'm still getting the game as I know it will be of high quality.

Uh, yes. Nintendo's platformers have some of the deepest most moving stories ever.

I think I'll take my chances and buy DKC:TF, though!

Indeed.  I'm sure there is a wiki out there that will fill in all of the story elements you missed from the first game.

I am buying the game but not day one, maybe a month after it´s released, not because it isnt excellent or Im not hyped about the game but because Im broke as hell and I just bought AC IV.

It depends. I played like five platformers in 2013, and I still have a ton I want to buy (Tearaway, Sly Cooper Thieves in Time, etc.)

For me, I guess it boils down to word of mouth. If I hear it's excellent just like the first, then I will totally get Day 1.

You don't have a time machine. You can't wait for other gamers to buy the game and give it good word of mouth, then buy it yourself on day 1.

You don't know that ;)

Hmmm, feb i have Bravery Default to buy. After that i still have to buy pokemon, rayman Legends, AC:IV and Pikmin 3. Than at March we have Yoshi...

I want it eventually, but don't know when.
