I would think that a 30th place title would not be bad on the European charts considering:
1. Those charts include handhelds, consoles, and PC
2. Those charts appear to combine the same titles over different formats
3. The game was out for all of 6 weeks in Europe in 2007
Currently SMG is 27th in the UK -- but 19th if you count different format separatrely (with about five handheld titles above it). It is fifth on the Wii chart, behind Wii Play, Darts, Carnival Games (the game that no one saw coming), and Mario & Sonic at the Olympics.
This tells me that casual sells ... but so does good games.
And SSBB is BOTH.

I am Mario.I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble. Wii Friend Code: 1624 6601 1126 1492 NNID: Mike_INTV |
