Mario came with the Nes. Of course, same for Wii sports. Similar huh?

Sure, and never heard anyone complaining about gaining a free Mario or Wii Sports...

I find strange that Alex Kidd and Sonic aren't there... at least in Brazil they were bundled with ALL Master System and Mega Drive, respectively.

Sega didn't release complete shipment data for their products, neither was their any sales tracker in Brazil. So with nothing to go buy, VGC shows nothing.

I understand that (and I know PS2 and older are a lot less reliable)... but just to confirm, was Sega systems also heavely bundled WW?

More than half of these games are from the 7th gen.

No you have 56 sku's, there are plenty of other games that have sold 10m+ that are not on the list :) Assassins Creed being just one.

Not that I know of. There were various SKUs over the lifetime of the Master System and Mega Drive, including different designs for the consoles themselves. So the systems could be bought with or without bundled games.

In the case of Sonic it's easy to verify that it wasn't bundled with all Mega Drives, because Sonic first appeared in a game in 1991, that's three years after the Japanese launch of the console.

Owww I see... haven't linked launch of Sony so long after Mega Drive releases, because it took a long time to be released here... started with Altered Beast bundle, but Sonic came a little after.

We still have Mega Drive and Master System available here.

It's amazing how every mainline Pokemon game have sold over 15 million (excluding X & Y)
I don't think any game will dethrone Wii Sports from the top spot, even if the game was bundled, most bundles are digital now.

Where's Minecraft Xbox 360? It was announced awhile back that it was over 10 million.

No 10M on 3DS or WiiU yet... downhill to doomland.
