Nintendo games sell at full price for not just one year, but multiple?? WOW! That's amazing. Except for these few exceptions. ZombiU, lego city undercover, super luigi, new super mario bros, Pikmin 3 (possibly), Sonic lost world... I think you get the point. Don't say I'm misinterprettying what you're saying intentionally again. When you assign a numeric value to something, that's what people assume you mean. If you say years, I expect more than 2. You're the one being misleading in this context.

Also, the xbox one would probably being killing ps4 in north america if it had launched at a lower price with an optional sensor as an accessory. They basically just gave up every territory, and made the US a huge battle ground. Which it wouldn't be if the numbers were similar to last gen.

ZombiU, Sonic, LEGO City are not Nintendo games, they were just published by them. Nintendo's window for profit for their own software is more like 3 YEARS, not 3 months.

And Xbone wouldn't be selling well if people really had such an aversion to Kinect.

I don't see how three games makes my point any less valid. Trust me, their window for profit isn't three years. If you can show me a fact sheet about that, I'll beleive you. Developers have said that the window for profit is often times less than two months because of used game. You're living in a dream world if you seriously believe that.

And I was saying I think the xbox one would be selling better if the kinect wasn't forced onto people.

For other devs. Not Nintendo. They follow a different pricing model. Show me where Nintendo said their profit margin in two months.

And plenty of people obviously seem okay with having it "forced" on them.

I read that article seriously 8 months ago. Look it up yourself. And I've provided games that are published  by nintendo that are under their original value within months, so demand can't be too high for them.  I want  you to show me one game that nintendo's made that's stayed it's originaly price for years because apparently they do.

Twilight Princess retained full RRP through the life of the Wii despite being a launch title. NSMBWii also retained its value. Then there's Pokemon...

EDIT: Missed it by that much

NSMB Wii, Sports Resort, Galaxy 2 were all over 3 years old, Smash Bros was 4 years and DKC Returns was 1.5 When they got price cuts. Mario Kart Wii is almost 6 years and still at full price. Nintendo window for profit is far greater than 2 months.

You should quote him so he sees it.

I wanted to but my phone glitches up when I try posting links in a quote, I have no idea why it does that.

You're right about motion gaming going nowhere, but for Nintendo it's a more grim story. I largely consider myself a fan of party games, Mario Party 2 is my favorite game ever made. However I bought Mario Party 9 last week over Wii Party U, why is that? Wii Party U is average, and very bland, and the minigames with the screen are pretty lame.

P.S. I think Nintendo is important still, a Mario Party X could do wonders for the WiiU.

Eh. I kinda stopped liking mario party after 3 or 4.

I agree with you, but MP9 is a damn good exception. I only ever enjoyed Mario Party 1 & 2 before, but 9....wow. Just amazing. I have hope for the franchise.
