Forums - Microsoft - Xbox One: Project Spark beta release date announced!

Team Dakota hosted a livestream on Twitch Thursday where it revealed Xbox One beta details for its game making game, Project Spark.

The Project Spark beta first launched on Windows 8 PCs at the beginning of December but Xbox One owners won't have to wait much longer. The beta for the console will launch in February according to the developer but be aware that it could slip to March depending on how many development roadblocks Team Dakota runs into.

Beta keys that were sent off for the Windows 8 release will be good for the Xbox One. You'll just need to log into the Xbox One with the same LIVE ID that was used for the PC version. However, even if you gave away your beta key, Team Dakota does plan to send out a second key to everyone that previously signed up.

Additionally, everything that you have purchased or created on the PC will be available to use in the Xbox One version of Project Spark as well. Nothing will be wiped.

There are still no plans for an Xbox 360 beta.

If you haven't signed up for the Project Spark beta yet, you can still do so at joinprojectpsark.com.https://joinprojectspark.com/

That video is messing up the page on mobile. Glad to have a date though.

Nobody else got in on this? I registered for the beta and the next morning got an email with my beta key. Playing the PC version while waiting for the Xbox One version. The beta key is good for both PC and Xbox One!
