it's a satire article that's meant to show you that console sales don't affect the fun you'll have with it, and is pretty much directed at the delusional people who think that the amount of fun they'll have with a certain plaform is measured by how much it sold.

It's a troll article. And the irony is who fell for it. :D

Wii U is over 5 million, and will reach over 8 million, I'd wager, within the next 6 months. Why? MK8 is going to boost sales significantly, and there will be a MK bundle as well.
