Forums - Nintendo - Monolith Soft “Urgently” Hiring for Multiple Positions

Monolith Soft’s new game might be even bigger than we imaged, as the firm has once hiring for programmers, designers, and planners. It seems like they are in a bit of a crunch, as the positions are marked as “urgent”.

On the recruitment page, you can see up to five positions marked as urgent. This ranges from Network Programmers to 3DCG designers.

Guess either X or a new game are in mid- to late- stages of development and they need more guys to help git 'er done. Good news.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

This is common for late-game crunch time. I'm really hyped for this game...

I hope this means we see the game get released some time by the end of the year, but at the same time I hope it isn't rushed. This game is the main reason I got a Wii U (along with SMTxFE and Operation Rainfall).

So... Nintendo is hoping for 2014 release. Nice. Was worried this might be pushed back.

I wonder how their unannounced 3DS title is going?

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

X is the reason I bought a discounted WiiU basic at Target. Cannot wait for this

PSN: Saugeen-Uwo     Feel free to add me (put Vg Chartz as MSG)!

Nintendo Network ID: Saugeen-Uwo

hope we get to see more of it this month!

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

I'd like to see them really push this as a major title, the way Sony did with FF7 way back in the day. The JRPG genre needs a title to get people's attention. If this game is the quality of Xenoblade, it deserves to be a major title.

I think Nintendo intends this game to appease the core demographic and graphics whores. Especially if Zelda is not ready till 2015. I love Zelda, but I actually want this game more.

Ugh.... network programmers? Are they trying to cram multiplayer into this thing?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

C'mon guys, why does this keep coming up?

These job listings have been on their website since even before the first trailer for X was released, which was more than year ago. There's been nothing new since then.
