And does the author know that the supply was not meeting minimum demand for PS4 and it was selling out in a mtter of min while Xbox ones were lying on shelves for hours to come.

Nope, he clearly now that If Sony made 1 more console than 4.1M it would be sitting on the shelf.

I made a lot more sense reading the comments below the article that ridiculed it.

MS also spends 10x the amount of money marketing their product.

Now, I’d ask you to bear in mind that companies exist to make profits. That’s the end game: making lots of money. Not having loads of users. Not making the best games. Not having a marginally higher resolution and frame rate onBattlefield 7: Death Killing Edition. Making money. And what we see from these figures is that Microsoft are, at this point in time, making more money from Xbox One sales than Sony are from PS4 sales. Almost $10 million more. And I think those numbers do a much better job of showing the real winner of the console wars than some sales stats.

Luckily for Sony then that most money with a console is made on software. And since PS4 sold about 2.5 million more units of software with up to $10 royalty per copy, that would mean up to $25 million extra giving Sony the edge.

Not that they even needed those software sales for that though since Microsoft has to pay Sony $5 for every Xbox One system sold for using Blu-Ray. That means 3 million times $5, or $15 million extra for Sony.

Your turn i guess.

Xbone will turn to all digital family plans and no royalty of Bluray disc will come to Sony on Xbone... your turn.

No they won't, they said themselves that they hade to include an optical drive because making downloading tens of gigabyte's for every game the only option is not possible in most parts of the world right now. ANd like i stated they would be ahead with software sales alone.

But since XOne beating PS4 seems very important to you i would advise you to stop looking at the charts as soon as possible. PS4 is in the lead and the onslaught will get much worse from here.

Have fun playing with your Xbox One system though, if you might not have noticed most Xbox One owners are having a blast with their console and don't give damn if it beats the PS4 in total sales or not.

If your internet sucks I have a solution, buy a Xbox 360.

Actually my internet is quite reliable, in fact it hasn't failed me in years where as i have hade two 360's break down and fail on me. And if you ever tire of glorifiyng the XOne without any decent argument i have a solution aswell, buy both systems.

Until that time i am done discussing with you and again have fun with your Xbox One. Don't do anything to crazy though, the NSA will probably be watching you with Kinect.

I made a work around against NSA, I'm always naked and have a goat making fellatio on me while playing... I doubt they will keep watching.

Any Nintendo platform is therefore doomed because they sell cheaper than other platform.
