If you wanted to do aligned launches, you'd add the numbers the US sold from day one to however many days Xbox One sold from day one.

You'd end US sales one week earlier, not remove the first week. So -175.000. PS4 is still at four million.

No, it "technically" isn't. The XBO had a great launch, but the PS4 did better. Simple as that.

Figure out the answer and that's where an Xbox fans logic comes from.

Give it a two years and the week difference will be negligable. Even less time then that will practically do it.

If you go by this logic then the PS3 was always ahead of the 360 you know comparing it a year ahead and all, so it works if we align the launches ...

In order to compare a launch you need to compare only the countries that they were lauched in.  53>13 no matter how you corectly do the math. So how many were sold in the 13 countries on each console. Otherwise the numbers are very skewed. Also Vgchartz corrected the PS4 numbers from 3.9 to 4.1 and left the Xbox one numbers at 2.9 even though Ms said to customers. You can't legitamately claim one is telling the truth and the other lying without proof.
