And you reason to believe it will is just cause of reasons??? Playstation Now being available in all platforms would be the same as in the case you just refuted a second ago.

Sure, ignore the points that I've already mentioned. Ignore that software is a much more profitable business venture. Ignore the fact that R&D will become obsolete, or that your userbase isn't being replaced with each generation. Ignore the fact that seamless upgrades can occur, or that the userbase would be significantly expanded. Ignore the fact that greater publishing control can be obtained, piracy and cheating would die, new avenues can be opened (such as rental or pay-per-play).

But no...our arguments are apparently on similar grounds because of your argument that it wont happen

Get real....

So why was any of that untrue during 7th gen?

You know PS1 games got released on PC in some cases right?

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

you're saying PS+ never happened? That opened a few doors to begin with.

Like I mentioned before, the one thing that could be stopping it is internet latency, and there has been major pushes lately by both governments and corporations to resolve this...

Now on the other hand, if they've managed to get it working on PS3 (with the same amount of input and screen resolution as PS4), what do you think is stopping them from utilising it to PS4.

In fact, I'd venture to say that PS4 would be more likely to end up cloud based due to the fact that Sony moved to the x86/x64 architecture. You know...the architecture that has had more money invested in effective/efficient virtualisation techniques than any other?

If you really believe it explain why Sony and MS released PS4 and Xbone??? PS360 can run stream (look at netflix), so by your logic they could run PS4 games... since tablets will be able to do it as well.

Are you reading any of my posts at all? I already mentioned that the PS4 would be an effective fallback in the case of cloud not catching on like they hope, or for countries whose internet is going to be subpar for decades to come....

That would ultimately become the real console killer though....a last-gen console just as effective of playing a game as current-gen...

It's a given: remove costly parts of the business to reinvest in the more profitable ones. Business 101...

You're not seriously trying to argue this, are you?

And what do you mean "all of that happening on your mind"? Are you trying to dispute that countries are NOT moving closer to FttX technologies??

LMAo the fonboy reaction. I swear to often I think game nerds are the most dumb and pathetic subculture there is.

Experts in everything a bunch of wannabe nostradamus eisteins in a basemanet lol.

What is happening in your mind is that you think you have it all figured out and it is the universal truth... unless you think Sony was lying when they said PS3/PS2/PS1 games only.
