Actually, that's an old picture.  It's pretty much finished now:

Actually, that's the old building.

The one in the OP is correct.

My Bad.  Someone told me that was the new one... and the new one is a similar shape to the old one.  The old one is actually in the background of this pic of the new one to give it perspective:

It's funny that there are no more updated pix on the headquarters than from 8 months ago.

This is the new one and it's completed as of today, quite similar in shape but has more windows and seems slightly longer. Hopefully this means more games :)

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Where is the gigantic, godzilla-size Mario?

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

Nicely done Pillow.  It's a better looking building than their old one.  I'm pretty sure that I read the new one is about 4X the size of the old one.

I also want to point out that in Japan --> functionality over style, especially when you are waiting for the next big earthquake, it's no time to start making weird shaped buildings and lose your investment, you need a sturdy rectangular/square shape just like the Gamecube ;)

Quite fitting that it looks like Uncle Scrooge's money-bin!
