If he really was a huge fan... he should have pre-ordered

That's what I asked him.

"Games are a trigger for adults to again become primitive, primal, as a way of thinking and remembering. An adult is a child who has more ethics and morals, that's all. When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."

People that buy on impulse or are easily persuaded, will end up buying both or more consoles.

Yup, it won't effect much in the long run, if anything it will only create a slightly bigger drop off for xb1 when ps4 is in stock. Mostly people who were planning to get both eventually will be taking xb1 home first.

Microsoft is just amazing ad promoting.. the xbox one is the only promoted console right now really everywhere especially gamestop and best buy..

sony isn't spending much on promoting considering they can't keep the console in stock

Ill have to update you on that one. Right now his biggest complaint is just getting used to the controller.  He says it feels weird in his hands. Which I can understand that.  It's off putting sometimes just switching from the Gamepad to the pro controller.

That would make a lot of sense. It's not microsoft advertising them but the store itself. You advertise what you have. And their best chance at selling the Xbox One is while the PS4 is not in stock.

That's why I made a thread about it. Baffling!
