Forums - General - Is Vizio considered a quality brand?

I own a 32" Vizio and it is really good! As long as your happy with what you have you shouldnt be ashamed of anything :)

I use to own a plasma Vizio 37' 720p for 6 years and sold it to my cousin and still going strong and then I got a 47' 1080p LCD I have this one for about 1 year and in black Friday I got another one 47' 1080p LED this time, is awesome.

I love Vizio, good quality, my dad has a Samsung LED 1080p and Vizio has better picture hands down.

Walmart and Target are the only ones the sells Vizio brand, I think.

Yeah, my second HDTV was a Vizio and the damn thing was way better than I expected. It was an LCD, though. Sometime in early 2012, I got it in my head that I needed an LED and I wanted 3D, too. I did a LOT of research for price and quality--even checked comparisons of 42 inch LED TVs on both cNet and Engadget. The Vizio got really high marks--even one comparison had the Vizo as the highest quality TV in its size. Plus, it was cheap! I got it. I'll post a link later.

I hate my Vizio TV. It has this weird backlight issue where half of the TV screen is darker then the other. It's only very noticeable when the scene is a single color though but it's still annoying.

The hell's a vizio

Here in Romania Vizio products are available and are mostly considered the quality low-end.

They are not Samsung/LG/Sony caliber, but price wise they are good propositions

Also, why the hell would you be ashamed that you have a cheap device? Thats something a 14 year old, spoiled brat would do

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

I have one, they're pretty great for the money. Consumer reports and most of the sites like Cnet and engadget seem to basically say it is one of the best value propositions, where you kind of have to look past the brand recognition and realize the picture is damn good for the price.

Some people perceive price as quality.  I know my TV is great but in a debate, people would just look at the brand and assume it's crap.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=4466006 --here's mine. The only downside to it is that it has a mode that pretty much kills motion blur....but with video game consoles, that mode is kinda broken.  It makes the randomly screen blink black for like a second.  Not good in the middle of a QTE of Beyond Two Souls.  I'd highly recommend it.

Never even seen anything with Vizio on it.

I have a Vizio 3D 55'' and a 32'', both have excellent picture quality for their price. The 3D is quite amazing as well, looks on par with that found in the theaters.
