Forums - Sony - The Solution to Vita's Hardware Sales Drought

First, It's simple. People want cheaper things. So maybe announce something comparable to the budget friendly 2DS.

Second, those memory cards, you did a wrong move there sony, another price drop for memory cards will help alleviate sales. And how about introducing micro sd cards on the next iteration of Vita?

Third, marketing, I've seen really good ads for PS4, that Japan Ad you made was well done and for me who has no plan of getting one, It made me want one. SO why not make the same for VIta?

and Lastly, games, where is the 85 games you promised during E3 2013? and I'm not only talking about third party, but you yourself. Sony Japan makes games, Sony Europe made the quality 1st Party Titles this year namely Tearaway and Killzone. So where's your contribution America?  Just having 2 first party titles for  a year is very alarming.

Sony,If you seriously want the Vita to succeed...It's a new year, time to put your ass to work.

I need to stop buying games...

If they dropped the price of the core Vita (no bundle) at least $50 to a permanent $149 then it would be able to compete a bit with the 3ds.

It seems, however, that Sony has given up any chance to be a competitor in the handheld market; rather choosing to just make a profit. They are a business, but still... Would like to see them try because the Vita has a lot of potential.

This is why I posted this, The Vita is such a nice piece of hardware. When you look at the 3ds, it has limited graphical capabilities because of the lower specs but the games on it are very nice. Just imagine the vita having those games on its hardware.

I think Sony need to bring a GTA game to the vita, it makes sense, create a bundle with the vita, GTA and a 16gb memory card for £180.
Also if they released a Gran turismo this would help boost sales in Asia,as well as Europe and N. America.
Its not rocket science sony! just release games for your handheld GAMING console :)

I own PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 2 slim, PlayStation 3 60gb, PlayStation 3 slim 1tb, PSP, PS Vita 32gb and PlayStation 4.

Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy/colour, Advance/Sp, Wii.

As the Sony fans on the wiiU doomed threads say... Drop the price by $100 and it will sell!

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

They should kill the psp forcing those devs to go vita making it a more actractive device for people
