6/1/2014 is in June, not july.  Or is the Italy way of writing months different?

"It’s also worth mentioning for those that live in North America that in Italy dates have the day first and the month second, so 06.01 means January 6th, not June 1st."

More like most of the (Western?) world, lol.

Basically everyone except NA

Only the USA exclusively uses the MDY format.  China, Japan, Korea, Iran and a few others use YMD.  The rest of the world uses DMY.

The only thing I got out of this thread was further proof that Americans think America = The World.

Other than that, looking forward to announcements of any kind really.

From an objective pov, it's more logic to write the month after the day if you write the year after the month.

There is only both logic ways : DMY and YMD .

But " MDY " ? This is madness !

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

What I got from your post is more proof that Europeans have an ignorant view of American ignorance.

.....or, and stay with me on this, we could also say that people in general can be ignorant, that it's not exclusively an American trait, and that generalizing an entire people based on their idiots is probably a bad idea and hypocritical. Yeah?

Quit making sense.

There is only enough room here for the usual stereotypes and sex jokes.

Now for me to come up with some stereotypes and sex jokes to complete this post....

If you're looking for a sex joke why not start with your sex life? Zing!

Is it really a zing if it is the truth?
