It's a pretty good ad, i'll give it a 10/10, overrated ? yes, but compared to the other japanese ads this one makes sense.

its basically showing how sad when relationship had to be apart just like the end of the game... 

not Lol Wtf but somehow its a bit too much...

Say whatever you want about the dufus with a heart of gold architype for JRPG but I prefer than 100x more than the Clouds and Squall of the world, at least they uplift!

No of them holds can candle to Yuri Lowell though :)

To be fair, Cloud gets a bad rap because of his haircut and his gloomy looks on Advent Children (justified in the grounds he and his adopted children had contracted a terminal disease). On FFVII he had emo moments here and there at most.
