The 2005 stuff is very nice and often will make sure you are not lost in episodes which do need some knowledge from the classic Doctor Who stuff, just the odd bit here and there pops up which the Doctor will have with him like old props from old villains and tis just a nod to the classic stuff. Like the Seal used during the Christmas episode is from the High council of galifrey but he had robbed it from the Master in a classic ep of Doctor Who.

Ok, just finished season 1. I'm hooked, but I have question.

Why did Eccleston only do one season? He was really starting to grow on me by episode 7.

Jack gets saved in the end, but Linda is still dead. That's kinda messed up, since she was so nice and just met them all.

Eccleston didn't enjoy it.

Jack... well he comes back and gets his own spin off Torchwood (rearrange the letters of Torchwood ) which is why he gets saved

Ah, the Torchwood (Ha, that's pretty clever) references was going to be my third question, but I forgot it. Probably because it was 3AM when I made that post.

Still a shame about Linda though.
