Just like some franchises should not make their way to next gen, neither should Pachter. I honestly think he just looks at forum posts of predictions and then regurgitates them to the media.

Didn't he claim MS would win the console war a few months ago? He changes his mind every few weeks. I don't take what he says too seriously anymore, he sucks at predicting and seems like he frequents certain video game sites to come to his conclusions.

I disagree, WiiU sales will be a lot stronger now that the PS4/XBO are out. Remember 360 only sold 5 million units before the PS3 released and it kept up. WiiU also only sold 5 million.
I think until MS makes a cheaper model XBO, WiiU will outsell it in 2014.

It's hard to predict who will end up second. XBO sales didn't grow this week, which is odd. This could mean XBO sales will be weak in 2014. Plus WiiU got a good boost from Super Mario 3D Land, who knows what Donkey Kong, Mario Kart, and Smash Bros will do.
I think WiiU will top XBO, but PS4 will come 1st.
