Forums - Nintendo - What is your favorite 3rd party Wii U game? Based on Gameplay, Technical/implementation details (if any) , the effect it has had on you or your friends and any lessons for devs and/or Nintendo if any.

Blops2 - I've played it a tonne. Ghosts is good, but not quite as good. These games also compliment Nintendo 1st party well.

Zombi U and Deus Ex have superb use of the gamepad, the Batman games look great, Need for Speed is technically a very sound game, Black ops 2 is the definitive version with superior Wiimote controls, off tv play and co-op with seperate screens for the players (this is a big deal to me). Also its worth pointing out that multiplat games such as Splinter Cell, Sniper Elite etc dont suffer from awful screen tear the HD twin versions had.

Have they patched the Wiimote sniper controls in Blops2? I remember them being unplayable. In Ghosts they work beautifully.

Dunno, I always use dual analogue.  Not even sure why really, I really liked pointer controls in early Wii shooters like RE4.  But two sticks just seems right on COD, and I wanted to up my skills for when I play on my friends XBox's or PS's.

Well i've owned zombie u, BLOPS2, batman Arkham City, rayman legends and trine 2. Probably enjoyed batman the most, but legends and trine 2 are also very good. Didn't enjoy zombie u or ,BLOPD3 at sll - preferref goldeneye on the wii tbh.

Deus ex: HR DC.

Sure it's a bit pricey. But i hadn't played it yet and found the gamepad implementation really good.

I'm now playing AC4 and finds the gamepad implementation really disappointing because i played Deus ex: HR DC before it :(. Except for the map they do nothing with it.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

Lego City Undercover. It is highly underrated

Since Metroid Prime 3 I haven't been able to go back to dual analogue, its just so slow and stiff by comparison.

Wonderful 101 cause I like superheros and its innovating and fun
