One thing that surprises me about this forum is the lack of love for Bioshock. Maybe since so many of you came from the console world and don't remember the System Shock series, this might not seem that impressive, but look again.

This is not a new company with a completely new IP. Irrational is known for their ability to scare the crap out of you and create a truly memorable setting to do it in.

Go to Gametrailers and check out some of the demos if you don't know anything about this game. They're EXTREMELY impressive.

Since I only have a Wii at the moment (and no time/money/plan to buy either a 360 or PS3), I only have Wii games on my list. Apart from Mass Effect that is, waiting to see more on it.

My Wii top10 for the rest of this year (assuming most come out to Australia/PAL) in order:

1/ Mario Galaxy

2/ Metroid

3/ Super Paper Mario

4/ Resident Evil: UC

5/ Super Smash

6/ Mario/Sonic Olympics

7/ Harry Potter Wii

8/ Wii Music (*)

9/ Wii Singing game (*)

10/ Mario Party

(* - titles to be bought primarily for my partner)

In my opinion, that is a very strong lineup for the remainder of the year. I can't see myself having any gaming complaints. Add to this a few downloadable / VC titles (including Impossible Mission).

 Color me crazy but the only reason I am not head over heals for that title is because its an FPS. It looks like it could be a really awesome third person game but I am the type of person that can be swayed by gameplay. I wrote crackdown off befoe I played it but then got my hands on it and changed my opinion. I am a little tired of all the shooters so any new shooters other than halo 3 is getting a little bit of resistance from me (no pun inteded).

Don't worry about Warhawk not having single player, it's looking better and better every time; If you like Battlefield 2 you will love that game.

 

I am getting that sweet ass Collector's Edition of Bioshock, that game and Mass Effect are the two things I want most from the 360 this year.

 I think ignoring all FPSs other than Halo 3 is a bad way to go...if you were a PC gamer like myself, who grew up playing all sorts of FPSs, you should know Halo is not among the best...maybe that's what suits you though.

For me the Wii's lineup looks the best, Mario Galaxy, Brawl, Corruption, Strikers (in the states), Battalion wars, My Sims, Nights, Mario/sonic, Space Station Tycoon, etc. I'll have a hard time affording all the games I want
