A rumour is circulating the internet that Minecraft could possibly coming to the Wii U, according to an undisclosed retail source. The game is apparently under development by Mojang and is expected to coincide with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Minecraft release during summer 2014. Minecraft creator Notch has been contacted by NeoGAF to verify this rumour.

Can't wait for the No answer but if Minecraft comes to the wiiU, it would be epic since the gamepad will actually help it a lot (If they even care to use it that is)

It would suit the WiiU quite well, but I think everyone owns Minecraft on at least one platform now

Seems like it would be a good fit for the Wii U. I don't like Minecraft but it would be cool if Wii U owners were thrown a bone.

They all said that when it was coming on xbox360 and look how much it sold today on that platform :P.
