Thought it was a cheap dig at the Xbox One cuz all the negative press around the reveal and I saw mostly fanboys use it. Either way it never offended me and shouldn't offend anyone for that matter, I saw like one person on this forum that had an issue with it. As for actual IRL discussion "Xbone" just sounds weird but from my experience people usually just call it "the one".

Yes, many people use it in a negative way, and they should be banned.

There's some negative connotations attached to the colloquial term bone. Every time I see XBONE I pronounce it, X BONE automatically. But then I seen some X1 fans using xbone, but I think they intend xb one not x bone.

Anyways...

But XBone is technically more correct than saying Xone or X1 while they imo are far cooler sounding names they miss the B portion of the name completely.

XBone = X Box One

saying Piss4 can never really be defended by saying that is how you abbreviate Playstation 4 unless every other word in ever other post you've ever made has been typo'd.

Ya know even if you think about it tho as like XBone and rather than pronouncing it as X-B-One but instead X-Bone it's not particularly a bad thing, meh think of it as a console that's going to bone the fuck outta the rival systems :)

I think we could start refering to them a sacred heaters.  Cept, I don't want to stoop to there level.  And I kinda feel sorry for them.  Cause it's going to take that much longer to save up for an Xbox One if they aren't careful with their money.

Personally it doesn't matter to me either way how it is written. Now, if I hear someone actually say "X-Bone" in public, I would probably think they're the biggest fanboy around. Especially because it sounds so moronic.
