Seriously, after they dropped the DRM stuff I have nothing against Xbone, err.. Xbox One, other than the price. Once it goes down in fact I'll probably buy one.

I'd say more people simply use that term because it's easier to say/type than "Xbox One" than those who use it simply for a negative connotation

xbone makes much more sense than x1. I mean what is an x1? What is the ONE? Neo from The Matrix? or xo? hugs and kisses?

Xb1 is fine
xbone is fine
xbo is ok

I'm as one of biggest Sony fans in this site assure you that I never used this name in a bad way... I really like it.

For these that didn't understand you can check with any Brasilian guy in this forum... Xbox One is hard to say and Xbone seems like made to be speak in our language... to position in the keyboard are easy too... a lot of time I was writing "Xbox 360" and ended "Xbone 360" because it is super easy.

This is by far the best nickname for any Xbox console ever created.

Glad I'm not the only one that seems surprised that people are getting offended by Xbone. I really don't think that many people do.

I don't get offended, it does make me look at that person differently tho. I love the 'it's shorter' argument tho, because browsing a videogame forum means you don't have an extra 0.5 second to type it out properly :P

Those that use it want to use it and they want the negative connotations to be put across.

But no point getting bent out of shape about it, actually it's kinda helpful.

Yeah, I kinda of believe that there are more people that hope it's offensive than people that are actually offended by it, LOL.
