Noone cares anymore. The games are out and the OS are being used.

So far

Xbox One has the best graphics at launch and is the only console that can do true multitasking and snapping.

So far.

You think because Ryse has arguably the best graphics that cancels out all other games having the best graphics on PS4
LOL

I keep hearing this, but I have no proof on the screen. There in lies the problem.

What are you talking about? You want proof that most games run in either higer resolution, higher frame rate and or with better or extra effects?

If you cant find that proof on the internet yourself, you either havent looked or your clearly in major denial.

Either way you argue Black is White about everything X1 and PS4 everyday so im not going to continue this descussion as i know it wont go anywhere good.

You mean because of those 2 games?

Good point. If we don't care about framerate, I guess Fortza 5s photo mode should win all. Or maybe GT6 and then the whole new gen is shit compared to the previous one.

OT: I presume this could have something to do with the memory system of the two machines, and then the CPU is not faster?

PS4's CPU is over 1.8Ghz if the rumor post release are true... it runs better than Xbone's CPU.

I have no idea what these people are actually doing to get to their graph (other than saying "Buy our product"), absolutely nothing can be said about the cpus.

The CPU is exactly the same.. 2 Quad-core Jaguar... the PS4's CPU runs at higher clock... there are other evidences.

There are 2 possibilities about this 12 vs 14 surprising result:

- PS4 CPU is oc to 2Hz versus 1.75ghz for X1.
- PS4 CPU has 7 cores available for games versus 6 for X1.

But I doubt they overclocked the CPU to 2hz because of the heat generated. I would tend towards the 7 cores vs 6 cores simpler and easier explanation.

The test is single-threaded and uses only one core.

You can tell you but won't make it true.

Kilzone have better graphics and run/performance better... there is no bull here... PS4 do multitasking too and better than Xbone ... snnaping is the only think not found in PS4 but from what I used it is useless.

How do you know? There is absolutely nothing in the link that tells us what they are actually doing.

"Generating textures" can be anything. If they are also shoveling textures around from cpu memory to gpu memory, then it is easy to see why PS4 slightly> XBox One and I7 mildly > PS4/XBox One (pure processor power should be I7 >> PS4/XBox One).

All signs still point to PS4 1.6GHz and XBox One 1.75GHz at this time, and this weird graph says nothing at all about clock rates. And please Selnor, do not derail every thread with your "XBox One games are better than PS4 games" mantra.

Oh you mean where the developers have clearly stated its to do with the SDK not being nearly as finalised as Sony's? Nothing to do with the hardware.

Crytek clearly showing whats possible even with poor SDK. After playing alot of Ryse, seeing Killzone after shows low res textures, badly animated characters, less enemies onscreen and less effects. In fact the city scape was the only real impressive thing in Killzone. The close in stuff looked pretty low res. Well in comparison to Ryse. And Ryse has a couple of levels with huge draw distance also. Showing it has a massive scale to.

But hey its all opinion bruv so..... I guess we should leave it. :)

The graph says 1 CPU that means obvious 1 CPU-core because if they use all cores of the  i7 CPU the result could be desastrous to PS4/Xbone.

Teardowns says PS4's CPU runs over 1.8Ghz.
