Forums - Gaming - Sony platforms lose Ratchet and Clank exclusivity

So I actually played the game. And I've got to say that it's pretty good more depth to the gameplay than your usual endless runner. It has my aprooval.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Just played this, sucks like shit. But meh it was free , also the first thing you see is "Sony Computer Entettaiment" when the app boots up.
Sony trying to tap into that addictive app market.

I cant see playing that with shitty touch controls. I hate mobile games for the most part, mainly the console games ported over, the touch controls are so shitty compared to a real controller. its a money grab if anything, which is fine they are in a business, I am just stating the downside to it.

That being said, I dont see this being much more than a sonic freeriders type game.

Sony are already making plans to leave the hardware business and convert the 'playstation' brand to a delivery platform.

"We have come to conclude that this is the beginning of a new era of PlayStation, shifting more from a hardware focus to a service focus"

Shuhei Yoshida 14 Nov 2013

“The PS5 Probably Won’t Have a main console, but just the screen and controller. So what remains will be just the name of the service. It could be named just “PlayStation network”. Steam is defined a platform, but it’s not a hardware platform. It’s the name of the service.”

I thougt MS or Nintendo but mobile.... meh.

Well im waiting for into the nexus to drop in price (its to short for 30 bucks)

Love the PS3 games crazy how good the first PS3 game looked when you think about that it actually was SD resolution.(excluding the bullshot cutscenes)

What do you mean, was it sub-720p?

Yeah it runs at 960x704 but still looks phenomenal.  This proves that smart artstyle >  everything when it comes to graphics.

Nooooooooooooo

TLOU next? I dont wanna lose them exclusives and go mobile

Obviously to Sony it makes more sense to suppert iOS and GooglePlay than PSV.

Still a pity how Sony is treating their handheld like it´s already in its death bed.

To me it just seems stupid that a 1st party would release games on plattforms that aren't their own

In other words, NIntendo has been right this whole time?

It may be that Nintendo is simply late to the party.

That's talking about marketing-oriented mobile/tablet activity.  Nothing to do with actual games.  Actual games will only ever be on Nintendo hardware.

As if Before the Nexus is an actual game lol

Cool. I should get it too. Does it unlock stuff in the main game?

I guess so, it was "google translator" style localised in Polish without a couple of specific letters, so I can't actually be sure
