Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Remedy: Quantum Break's characters lifelike thanks to Xbox One power; 10+ hrs story

Remedy is awesome I think this game will be amazing and it might personly be a system seller for me, I might consider to get an Xbox one insted of a ps4 when this game will be as good as Remedy games are usually been.

Great animation and graphics ? Yes

Lifelike ? Bitch please

I fear that the game might be overhyped like Alan Wake but the idea behind is truely awesome. I think theres something good to do with this.

Alan Wake overhyped?

Get out now. ;)

Alan Wake was my 2nd faveourite game of the entire 7th gen. The best storytold game of the 7th gen for me. It was gripping from start to finish. Remedy are my 2nd fave developer. Alan Wake was amazing.

No, they are not lifelike. I can guarantee this without ever seeing the game, because the power of gen 8 consoles is totally inadequate to make genuinely lifelike characters, even in cutscenes. Does anyone imagine for a second that they will be playing characters that look as flesh and blood real as Gollum in LOTR / The Hobbit?

It might be very impressive, for a console, but lifelike, no. That's just developer hyperbole, talking up their own product.

Its a good game surely, with a metacritic in the 80s it cant be argue. Im sure quantum break will be good too, I dont mean that by overhyped it will not be good. When they say things like "lifelike" or "digital double" I cant help but feel they exagerate. They still hadnt show us gameplay and its been a while its announced. They did the same thing with Alan Wake, plus that one stayed in development forever. Not to say they are the only developers that does this though. In any case, I think that the idea of meshing a game with a series is a good one.

I loved Alan Wake, was a great game. THis game looks to capture some of that thunder but I still want Alan Wake 2. What a great game.

Remedy is great. Naughty dog is better tho.
