Yeah and the daily thing is set to continue into the new year so it's worth while either turning on your 360 at least once a day or else check in here because I'll try to keep the daily part updated if I'm anywhere near a PC or my Vita.

Such great deals! I wish they had more than one of these super discount one day seasons a year.

They actually do, but a lot of the time the deals aren't even there for enough time for people to notice and they have often just completely flown under the radar.

Yea, I know the weekly sales and stuff.  But I mean something like the amazing one day sales they have this time of year.  I'm often really busy with family and don't get a chance to check in.  Just wish they had one in the summer or every season.  Even if it's just a week.   But I know we also get two free games a month which is quite generous too.

You know btw about your post.... the worst thing is there is Seasonal sales, has been a Spring / Summer / Fall sale each year on the 360 now for the past 3 years at least I think. They're literally just completely missed by people, there is a bug at times with the 360 where it wont update the dashboard icons until your system is online at the time when something changes on it, so you keep with the same icons around your dashboard for a few days not knowing that there are items on sale. I've had it happen and you can force the 360 to get the newest dashboard set of icons and specials by going into the HDD and resetting the cache of the HDD you use (this will also remove all the little security patches for old games so you'll need to download those 512kb files when you play older games)

Oh, golly I will have to look out for them more often.  I don't know what it is, but something I'm on the fence about I am more likely to buy on a good sale. I'm thinking about picking up 'Brothers a tale of two sons' now that's it is like $5 this week.  I liked the demo and really like the art style.

I do clear the cashe, but usually only when I have a problem.  I will remember that, thanks for the tip!

Just logged in to XBL and got Flashback (loved it when it was on 16-Bit soooo) and Brothers. Both were less than $5. I started this year buying less games than ever and ended buying like I was crazy. I wonder if I came close to 100 new games like I did virtually every year. I should make a list.

the only good thing about this summer of arcade remake of flashback... is you get that 16bit version at the title screen over to the right hand side. The new game is appalingly bad even for $5 :( The whole story in the original game is Conrad had discovered a technology to reveal the aliens who were hiding amount the human population, the remake rather than try and make humans look a little alien... Makes all the aliens into Terminator Indoskeleton looking things.

During the first stage of the game I managed to roll off a elevator while it was going up, which got me stuck in one of the funniest game breaking bugs I'd encountered in some time where my character was stuck only able to look up and down to move the elevator he was no longer standing on. I found the only way to move forwards after this happened was the tiny step he takes while he draws his gun so I had to shimmy along through a whole screen drawing and holstering the gun to find somethign to kill me but gave up when I got to a hole I couldn't even jump down to kill myself. Like I said... at least the original is included! :D
