Forums - Gaming - At what price would you buy the system?

Wii U: $350 usd. I bought it on launch day so obviously I was willing to pay full price.
3DS: I already have one. I think I would purchase a second one at $150 (3DS XL)
Ps3: 200$
PsVita: 140$ (not enough games to justify higher price)
Ps4: 400$ I would be willing to pay full price but when the lineup improves (seems it appears to have a weak lineup for the first half of 2014 I guess I won't buy one until next holidays)
X360: 140$ (not enough exclusives to justify higher price)
XOne: 300$ similar to xbox 360. I'm not a fan of any Microsoft 1sst party series.

In Australian dollars -

WiiU - $400

3DS - $300

Xbone - $200

PS4 - $100

Vita - $1

$350 for X1. Slim redesign wouldn't hurt too. I can wait. Let the early adopters go through the growing pains.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

PS4 150€
Wii U 99€
Xbox One 500€

Already have a Wii U ($300) with a game

PS4 will purchase at U$ 300 with a game
Xbox One will purchase at U$ 300 with a game

BUT I will NOT purchase BOTH, so I will have to choose between a PS4 and Xbox One later, maybe 2015

I won't buy a PS4/XBO/Vita for any price right now because I don't trust 1st generation reliability for new consoles (So XBO/PS4 are out), and I don't need a Vita right now.

WiiU - $249 - This is the price it sold for on Black Friday, it's a good price. I'm just waiting for some games. I'll likely pick up a WiiU next fell when X releases.

PS4 - $299 - I don't need a PS4 right now, but when I get one, this seems like a fair price. $400 right now is a lot of money, and I don't want the PS4 that bad to spend a lot on it. Heck, I have so many 4th-7th gen games, I might even wait for a $249 price point, or a bundle.

XBO - $129 - Honestly I'd only be getting it for the exclusives. I don't need Kinect, so that immediately cuts the price to $299, and in a few years, with some price drops, I see $129 as a possible price one day, and I wouldn't pay any more then that just to get a few non-PC exclusives.

3DS - $149 - This is how much I paid for my XL

PSV - $79 - If Vita dropped to this price, I might get one. I don't really need one with so many 3DS/PSP/DS games, but I don't think the system will sell for any less then this, and I do want to play Uncharted & Gravity Rush. I have pretty much every console, I don't want Vita to be one which I don't own.

You wouldn't pay more than $129 for Xbox one yet you'd pay $249...wait what!

I can play pretty much every XBO game on my PC. I can expect Sony to release a bunch of console exclusives during the life of the PS4, that's why I want it. You never see a JRPG release on PC, but something like Fallout, and Titanfall you will.

Games mean everything, and after Halo 4 and Forza Motorsport 4, the two biggest X-Box exclusives are pretty much meaningless to me now. So why would I want an XBO?

Would buy:

- ps4 300€, or more depending when dying light, FFXV came out.
- xbone 200€ or never depending how strong the exclusives turnout to be (don't care about kinect)
WiiU 200€ and only when smash, persona/fire emblem and project X comes out.
