Yes, you can transfer that down payment towards something else within Gamestop.  I wonder if Gamestop has some sort of purging system for their pre-order lists.

Waiting list notify list does not mean paid for preorders.

not sure if it actually is possible or not.   ...i mean, factories don't magically create more product just because you want them too.   but i'm hoping sony's 5M number was being conservative and can be beaten.  i mean, that 5M number was their expectation not necessarily their capabilities.    it would be soo good for all of sony (not just playstation) if they could have a good couple of quarters.

Its nonsense.  The pre-orders will have, or will be, going elsewhere.

You can believe that... the truth was that Sony didn't expect that demmand... the shipment will be way over 5 million at March... they are producing 1.2m units per month... 3.6m just in Jan/Feb/Mar plus what they shippped this quarter.

if that term means "consoles that reached the retail partner", then the majority of the consoles produced in march might not count towards that number as they probably still are in transit at the end of the fiscal year

6.5 - 1.2 = 5.3mil. In line with their expectations.

It's really hard to find. I am going through the tracker sites helping a friend out in finding one and everytime something shows up by the time we get there and place and order: "out of stock" . About a week ago there was this Toy R US killzone COD bundle, he added it to his cart and as he was getting ready to pay, his cart becomes empty again and no PS4. The other less interesting bundle knack + Marvel was still available for a few hours and eventuall sold out.
