Anyone know what this Atari 2600 game is? It was where you could go up stairs or down stairs. Your objective was to find your way to jump and grab a crown that's in between two platforms. I don't remember, but I don't think there are any enemies and only a single map, though they might have the jumps and ladders located different locations.

sounds like Mountain king?

I've literally never heard of any of the games you've explained, they all sound amazing tho. but that frog one was rather simple to find based on their not being a whole lot of frog based golf crossovers :D

Holy shit after 3-4 "games you cant remember of the name threads" in all my time here i finally found it!!! Thank you :*D

Yeah this game was crazy and insanely fun. They dont make games like this anymore :(

ps2 has a load of those kinda niche great games, you ever play mr mosquito? you play a mosquito trying to distract a family so you can drink a little blood, it's really awesome since the family are gigantic and you're a tiny lil fly.

Or Katamari Demaci another brilliant quirky ps2 game (which was later ported to everything with a screen)

Glad I could help btw :)

Nope, but i seen clips or the game and it looks so weird lol

I've played Katamari on the xbox360 and that game was extermely weird, but a lot of fun and collecting your cousins is the best collectables ever.

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

ARCADE game in the 90s...

basically there is three characters... one female, one older man and a younger man who has a katana...

you choose character.... up to three players... the arcade box has 3 sticks and typical 6 button.....

the gameplay... just beat a big monster every level... and try to survive....

if you press three button for a long time (top I think) they release their ultimate move...

I also remember that either stage 3 or 4 is a huge ice/snow monster and the stage is surrounded by snow and penguins.... I really love this game when I was a kid... I need serious help :(

no other enemies? just boss fights all the way through the game? Sounds very odd if that is the case.

no.. just big boss each level... im not even sure if it was released in the US.....

the character reminds me of this girl

then the older guy weapon is like a baton....

man i really wanna know this game

I think this is the game I was going to post here. Don't know the name but the stronger weapon was with the older guy I think with his stick with which he could "hover" if you hit the final boss repeatedly with it?

I do remember just some platforming to do with boss (the final boss in fact) at ends of levels. Should be the same game. Being searching for this game since a long time ago now with no luck. This game existed even before the 90s.

I'm fairly confident that for the Vita game they got a guy in a suit and captured his movements because it doesn't look right... well it looks too right really. When you create a new star in it the way he rubs himself and moans.... it's like golddust from the WWE if you ever seen him lol disturbing

Long ago (2001) I played a point and click game in which two dudes went to look for some sort of treasue. I can remember that it was heavity influenced by spanish or mexican culture. They probably had a cat with them. It was a great game. Can anyone remember so that I can get it from steam?

This will be tough I think.

When I was in kindergarden, late 80s - early 90s, I spent a lot of time at my friend's house. We used to play this Ninja sidescroller game. All I remember is that in one of the levels, you were outside and could jump on branches, etc in the trees. The graphics/colors were very bright, if I remember correctly.

Now here is the tricky part. His mom was a lot in Japan and other places in the world, and the console might have been a Japanese NES (Famicon), but I am not sure.

If anyone know this game, I would appreciate your reply.

try this?

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, this is not it. I remember the graphics, or main character not being so.... "kiddy"-looking. If you have any other ideas, I would be glad to hear it.

The Legend of Kage?

And if not Legend of Kage, certainly Demon Sword.

Yes, one of my first PS2 games. It was an action/RPG, I think you were able to play as a guy or a girl and the game was in CD format because the reflecting surface of the disc was blue. The game scenarios were very open and colorful, the gameplay was a bit like zelda. I don't remember its title or what I did to it, I probably traded it for some other game.

if it was kinda hack and slashy like dynasty warriors a small bit? this could be your game, seems on wiki it was only released in Jap and EU tho so if you're from the states there is a chance you wouldn't have seen this little game at all.

The one I played was more cartoony, I think the girl had orange coloured hair and she and the dude looked like 17 years old. 7 blades looks pretty cool.

Can't remember if the game was on Sega Megadrive (Genesis for you yankee doodles), but it was basically a fighting game and you were robot dinosaurs... I think anyways lol... I remember renting it from Blockbuster anyway

Another game, also for the Megadrive, it's going to be hard to describe since I can't remember too much, the setting was slightly futuristic, and it was multiplayer, I THINK it was like Golden Axe, but one of the characters was a guy with a gun, and another was a robot that had a whip... think there were levels that took place inside a shopping mall or something? Seriously, I only ever played this game once for like an hour at my friends house after school...

primal Rage for the first one

there is a chance... if it was definately robots that it could have been rise of the robots

http://gamesdbase.com/Media/SYSTEM/Commodore_Amiga/Snap/big/Rise_of_the_Robots_-_1994_-_Time_Warner_Interactive.jpg

I'm not going to make that a link to show the image because that game is horrible :D but it could be the one you are after... it was really bad tho. trust me!

second is Alien storm, the mall bits are fps style with stuff flying at you? this is your game :)

Oh my lord yes Alien Storm is the name! That's the exact game, the FPS style mall levels and everything!

Still not sure of the fighting game, the first one you linked was dinosaurs and stuff, whereas the second one was robots... this game I'm thinking of was robot dinosaurs, so like a mix of both, or maybe I'm just remembering it wrong lol, but it definitely wasn't the 3D style of Rise of the Robots, lol, I know that much :P

Cheers though man!

No bothers at all, if you have an Xbox360 or the Ps3 btw the Sega megadrive ultimate collection has Alien storm on it along with a whole ton of other great genesis games. I'll have a think about the dino robot fighting game more, I know there was a Godzilla game on the Genesis too but I don't think Mecha-Godzilla was one of the characters in it, that game had the street of rage style up and down screen movement more so than just a 1 on 1 fighter.
