One as a bit of an issue coming up when it comes to ruling the world... February PS4 will hit Japan. And that is when we see some sickass numbers, and a large gap.

I hope so, ps3 wasn't that impressive

I think Sony stretched themselves too thin but we can hardly blame them since their market is strong in the EU. While MS did well with focusing on their stronger markets, that's why they lessen their initial launch countries to 13.

Stocks on one location maybe a different story in another location. This stretch will all depend on supply now.

I'd like to trust VGC numbers, but Xbone numbers in europe are so low that they make me doubt.

Next NPD data will be interesting. Also there is no way Xbone is outselling PS4 2:1 in NA.

Is op saying what i hink he is? YIELD ISSUE FOR PS4 ?

XBONE is limited by stock too...

No

Yes.

Where I live the xbox still has supply issue, yesterday wall-mart got restock and went out of stock in less than 1 hours. A friend of mine got the last one.

Tuesday I went to Future shop and buyed a 3ds for my GF and I've ask the seller what is the situation of the xbox one and ps4  he told me that when they get restock, it last less than 2 hours in both case.

Even if exception exist where some store still have some in stock these are really not the common trend and when the info pop out on the Wed they are usually sold out in the following hours. just like every thread that where made on vghartz to point out available stock on amazon.

This will have a positive effect in the long run though. I'm from a European country in which PS3 won, but X360 came close behind (for obvious reasons - piracy, lower price, later because of Kinect) and in which we have PS4 now (sold out till March, preorders won't even be met till the end of the year) and our local MS said we're tier 3 or 4 for XO launch. The result? Everyone, even X360 fans go like "fuck MS for screwing us over and not releasing their console here, Sony at least respects us". This will have a significant effect when combined with a higher price of the XO, so MS is pretty much eliminated in Europe. In my country alone Sony will sell between 1 and 1.5 mil consoles, while XO will be marginal.

Hence Sony doesn't even have to win NA. It gained a hell of a lot of ground there, while MS is losing massive ground in Europe by the minute.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

That's true, Sony doesn't want to lose the momentum in the EU, that region pretty much became their bread and butter with the PS3 after all.

I also agree that Sony may just want to keep it close in NA since the Xbox brand is heavily embedded in NA and MS is very strong when it comes to marketing in their home court.

PS4 is not sold out everywhere. You can find them if you look hard enough, just like Xbox One.

There are 4 ps4's and 1 xbox one at my local walmart in north carolina.
