if you think Activision is letting go of the 007 property then you are out of your mind. Its gone let it go, be happy they put those games out at all.

Honestly you sound very salty, dudebro shooters are the popular thing now, deal with it. Every gen there is an uber popular genre, dont be mad that its not your favorite genre, it will go away just have patience

I don't think he can withstand the fact that creativity is mostly irrelevant.

why is creativity all of a sudden irrelevant? Because a genre he might hate is more popular than a genre he likes? What about in the SNES/GEN days when the consoles were stupid with platformers and me too mascots, was creativity not irrelevant back then? I dont buy it, there are creative games out there you just have to find them, hell you dont even have to go far.

I'm not say that creativity is bad per se but the way nintendo goes about doing it is really stupid. They can lecture about creativity all they want after they become relevant again.

to be fair it isnt as easy as it seems, they caught lighting in a bottle with WIi and some people wanted to forget that the two systems before that got stomped. and WIi U seems to follow those two.

Please don't say that the WII was fad.

didnt say it was a fad, Ninty found something that worked, they tried again with WIi U it didnt work. its that simple

One of the smarter things Nintendo could do is to actually look at genres that are underserved currently, like action games. Bayonetta can be the king player in that space as Ninja Gaiden and Devil May Cry seem to be done for.

Same with Japanese RPGs ... right now the genre is underserved IMO, X could make a name for itself there.

There's more to the action genre than just hack'n'slash games. BTW if you think bayonetta 2 is going to take off it will do even worse than the others.

Again you fail to understand what was different in comparison between the two systems.

what do you think nintendo can do to be more relevant, please don't tell me more powerful hardware.

Wait what ?! You obviously didn't understand what I had meant. The WII was obviously not some fad as people though out to be. I agree that more powerful hardware is meaningless. For nintendo to be relevant again they need to go blue ocean again otherwise their not gonna have much chance.

If we listen to the market, lets just have nothing but Call of Duty, Madden NFL, superhero movies, and Miley Cyrus music 24/7. Nothing else is worth exploring because it won't sell as much.

Your dead wrong, the industry doesn't have to be that way. Minecraft with notch has showed the way to succeeding even when being handicapped by budget.

You could've just said Angry Birds and called it a night.

Angry birds was decent but minecraft was more impressive.

The Wii was a fad and the Kinect and Move profitted off of the wildfire it caused in the industry. The market is going to shrink because of it. Thats what happens when you attract non-gamers. They only have a passing interest, spend their $250 play around with the waggle controls and then move on with their lives. Even Nintendo admitted Sony and MS will reinvigorate the industry. Of course they will. They command the more present and stable console gamers compared to Nintendo.

Ohhhhh brother ..... here we go again.

First off a definition of a fad is a trend that dies in less than 3 years and much shorter than that!

Second of all the majority of the PS360 base are full of casuals too if you hadn't notice.
