cool, im assuming thats with digtal and for Nov 31st. I kno the digital sales aren't big (no more than 180k) by looking up the eShop so that means its about 400k Overtracked here!

I don't think the Wii U will follow the Vita. Ninty knows what they are doing, even when a lot of people is against it but Sony... I don't think they know what they want to do with the Vita anymore.


The only problem is that the way I see it, Nintendo made the same mistake with the Wii U as Sony did with the Vita. Even though Sony had a new system that needed more software support they just continue to release more and more exclusive games on PS3, a system that doesn't really need them. In my opinion God of War, Puppeteer, Ratchet and Clank, and Gran Turismo should have all been Vita exclusive or at least multiplatform. Same thing could be said with the Wii U. Games like Luigi's Mansion, and Animal Crossing should have been made for the Wii U not the 3DS. The 3DS still would of had great exclusives like SMT IV, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, and Donkey Kong while the Wii U wouldn't of had a big software drought.

I know there were many other factors that lead to the Vita's demise in the US and I know Nintendo won't Ignore the Wii U going forward but that's just my two cents.


I get what you're saying bro, I just feel there is too many factors in play to get the Vita ship on the right track. I just don't have it in me to underestimate Ninty, they just seems to have a rabbit under their hat when you least expect it. lol ^^

That's close to the minimum.

Min: 1150 + 410
Max: 1190 + 425

I think Kaz's ego is the only thing stopping the the Vita being discontinues at this stage. It just a embarrassment that loses money and damages the sony playstation brand name.

You still have to laugh at the pundits that said the 3DS was going be destroyed by the Vita, Nintendo were doomed, etc. Now look at it, the 3DS is a absolute juggernaut of the gaming world and the Vita is more dead than anyone could have ever imagined.

Well, what an eventful NPD!!

Definitely heading into each of the big 3 having 1 platform each doing well.

Wii, 360, PS3 will die off sooner than expected, and WiiU and Vita aint going anywhere soon.

Perhaps in a way this'll allow 3DS, XB1 and PS4 to do well, with the focus being on less platforms.

Does it really damange PlayStation's brand new though? It's an excellent piece of hardware but Sony just failed to support it as well as it could've. I wouldn't call it an embarrassment even if it is causing Sony to lose a lot of moola.
