I'm saying they are both estimates, and as such have a certain margin of error associated with them. That's just the way it is. And jumping on VGChartz and saying it's wrong and saying now you can't trust it is going overboard. And like I said, this is what NPD wants. They don't want people to trust VGChartz, because it could seriously undercut their monopoly on American monthly numbers. Especially since VGChartz is free.


 Well I can tell you that I always believe the NPD date more than the VGCHARTZ numbers;

I use the VG numbers as an indiciation and most of the time the difference is small while this time it is a big margin.

And what diomedes says is true;..NPD are professionals gives them more credibility doesn't mean of course that they never are wrong;..
