This must be a misunderstanding/typo.

Wii userbase will be between 45 and 50 millions by the end of 2008… in 2011, maybe we’ll already know the new (HD) Wii, but by then, the original should nearly have a 100 million userbase, if not more…

When i think these guys are actually PAID for being wrong year after year after year, twisting facts with their prejudices and never using their brains (if they have any), it drives me mad…

I mean c’mon, 90% of the vgchartz community admits the Wii will sell easily 20 million in 2008! Even the PS3 and 360 fanboys know Nintendo produces 1.8 million a month, and will maybe increase their production once again… if the industry wants some predictions, we all know better than these so-called “analysts”…

I think we should make a thread full of absurd Wii analyst predictions for archival purposes then throw it up in their faces years later. I would really like to see their explanation then, or if they even still have jobs.

 I just can't argue with these facts.

I hereby renounce my previous predictions and endorse the "Wii is a Fad" mantra.... I never meant to bring so much shame to my family .  If only iSuppli had shown us all the way sooner it all could have been avoided...think of the millions of people who purchased the Wii thinking it was a fun game console only to be duped by the Fad!

 Yes, iSupply has peered into the future with their magic crystal ball and have determined that the video game industry is headed for a crash.  The video game industry will be forced to massively downsize as this becomes apparent.  The geniuses at iSupply have revealed that the Wii fad is but a symptom of video games as a whole being a fad.

iSupply:  "Video game industry you have no chance to survive make your time."
