Buy Nintendo. They are the only one who understands you buy a physical game, its yours.

Came here to say this, Nintendo all the way for me.

I don't mind DRM, it's just the microtransactions. I mean, having to always be online, that's literally not a big deal at all.

And it shouldn't be put on me that I can't play a game because Sony or MS servers are down.

What's so bad about microtransactions? I don't like them either but you can opt not to use them.

Being always online is worse because it dependes on your internet connection and as you said in Sony and MS servers.

Well, if you suck without the perks microtransactions offer, and it's a grind to get them, it'd be kinda annoying to have to pay for that, I bought the game.

And the way DRM works this gen, I think, is that the game requires a constant online connection to check for authenticity and crap. I honestly don't view this as a big deal, my Wi-Fi is always stable, but the servers should constantly be up then.

That said, I would PREFER no DRM, but I honestly don't think it's a big deal.

It fucking sucks!
What do whe have to do on days like this when PSN is down? Go outside? I don't think so...

There is no drm if you get a game for free...

Well that's true about microtransactions but maybe you just need to practice more and suck less ... jk xD.

Well it would be ok if Microsoft and Sony would keep their servers stable but we had lots of problems on the 7th gen with game launches and servers collapsing. Like with Sim City and other ones :O.

In the case of DRM for video games, it doesn't bother me that much because I can only play a game I buy on that console. And i don't trade in my games.

However, for music and e-books, I prefer no DRM because I can use those files on multiple types of device.

And yes, I do believe Sony and MS will implement DRM into their games some time in the future. When? Who knows? But I believe most people won't care about it.

The situation is a joke and highly mismanaged, seems more of a punishment to legitimate gamers than anything else. Regardless of how good it might be in the future there will always be those who are left out and/or punished for being a legitimate gamer who just doesn't happen to have an internet connection. If buying the game on a disc doesn't entitle you to play the game, then why charge for that game at all? No... not why charge, why bother?

The industry is in danger of being filled with ways to charge you for everything and you get hardly anything in return, filled with 'taxes' to make sure those pesky pirates don't steal developers precious games, but they will and gamers like us will be punished again for it.

Hmm, pie.
