no unique gameplay elements that show off the need for the wiiU gamepad confirmed. ;)

Off TV screen play confirmed. You couldnt do that with Donkey Kong Country Returns ;)

I'll likely play with gamepad as I love off-TV... however with TV I'd probably use Pro due to battery life.

There Is a new battery out for the gamepad I bought one, basically almost double the life of the small battery and cost me £25.00 here In UK

off screen play is cool for sure.  ..but it's not a gameplay element.

listen, i'm not really hating on DK here.   but nintendo claims the wiiU gamepad will create new ways to play and i've yet to see anything unique.

Really? I've seen it work as a way to honk your horn in Mario Kart 8, that not unique to you? : p

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

I'm wondering if that is deliberate at this point, as they could be planning on ditching it. Is anything coming that doesn't support the pro controller?

you'd have to ask someone else.  i'm not a wiiU owner and as a playstation fan i don't know wiiU as well as a nintendo fan would.
