This game could potentially bridge the gap between video game fans and a more general audience. I know many workmate (girls especially) that love GoT but have never touched a video game outside of the likes of Candy Crush.

Telltales' game are delivered in a form that reduce gameplay in favour of interactive story telling, this seems ideal for people that aren't interested in gaming but would like to experience what this has to offer simply because its Game of Throne.

I look forward to the outcome.

I guess they have no choice but to follow many characters just like in the books.

The GoT world is too vast to concentrate on one place.

But if they had to choose only one character and only one place I'd go with a Wildling.

They need to make it into action game with the witcher combat but i doubt it. It telltale we talking about, they only capable of making point & click game.

Neither the book series nor the show is action oriented so there's no reason why the video game should...

Telltale's focus on story, character development and interaction, decision making, etc. is exactly what Game of Thrones is.

There couldn't be a better match. I completely trust them with this.

I would guess you are part of an unrelated to the books group trying to survive the war in Westerose. At least that's the only way I can see them injecting any of their own spin on the story or putting choice into it. You can't just change history to make it branch out. Maybe you could be a wildling group trying to flee south and instead of Walkers they just make it White Walkers you have to avoid. That way they can just make Walking Dead again only with colder more badass zombies.
