Microsoft gave Remedy the go ahead to make a PC version.

As much as I would like to believe it, so far its Xbox One exclusive... unless you have a source to claim that?

Wanting people to buy Xbox Ones is the only reason they need. Personally I hope they don't allow any of their published games to come to PC.

And that's why I'm saying that they should launch it on PC 1 or 2 years later, once the game is no longer a system seller.

Please excuse my bad English.

You, sir, lost YET ANOTHER GIGANTIC opportunity to keep quiet.

what exactly do you gain by barging into my converation and start your personal attacks against me?

now here's a hint for you to actually bring something useful to the table: if you want to invade other people's conversation by standing against one of the involved, do so by countering his/her arguments. what shouldn't be done: start throwing random unrelated personal attacks.

going back to the discussion, i said i wouldn't buy the game, he said a was a hypocrite and would buy and praise it if it was nintendo exclusive. he also said i came here to intentionally talk shit about the game when I just gave my opinion. If you have something useful to add to that, do it. if you don't, keep quiet.

Hum... This conversation is on the forums. If you don't want people to comment about what they think is ludicrous in your stance and comments, I suggest you take it to PMs.

As for your arguments... You have provided none. You just jumped to a hasty conclusion without even giving the game a chance to show what it's made of.

when there is nothing ludicrous in my post, people simply can't say "what they think it's ludicrous about it". it's that simple.

they showed cutscenes, cutscenes, more cutscenes and small fractions of gameplay wich are needlessly shooter based. I find that boring and wouldn't buy it. those ARE arguments.

You find shooter based games boring?

Let's see:

- Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles

- Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles

- Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition

- Sin & Punishment: Star Successor

- Metroid Prime Trilogy

All shooters from your game collection. xD

What more, those Resident Evil games are filled with cut-scenes just the same. =)

Lmao those games don't count, they're on Nintendo consoles! Only shooters on Nintendo consoles are worth playing.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

I was talking about Alan Wake.

I want to see more.

This game seen intersting, however nothing at all was revealed at VGX, it was a trailer about nothing showing the same footage already shown before.

Be honest, the reason you want them to is because you dont want an XBO, not because it benifits Microsoft or Remedy in any way.  As I said before, Windows doesn't need games to sell it but Xbox does.

And wow guys, this thread got incredibly off topic.  Surprised the mods never stepped in.

Let me tell you something, I'd be the happiest gamer in the world if tomorrow Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony ditched their own platforms and started developing for one single and open platform: the PC.

Do I want t buy an XboxOne? No, and neither a PS4. Will I end up buying one of them? Right now I don't know.

Does launching Quantum Break on PC benefit Microsoft? If it stops the menace of Steam Machines yes, otherwise no. Does it benefit Remedy? Yes, after all the more sales they get, the more money they'll have.

You messed it a little there.

Edit: Can see it now. Haters gonna hate. Fans are gonna act like no game before comes close to this. Game is gonna have about the same metacritic score as their previous game and nobody gives a shit after.

the remedy games have a pretty cult following. you constantly see people commenting on forums about how they want the next alan wake and so on.

so i would say your post is generally incorrect. many games are forgotten but remedy's seem to have lasting power.

i think i kinda hated alan wake personally.
