I think you're assuming too much here buddy. Microsoft owes much of their success in gamingindustry to Halo not to Bungie, as 343 showed they're a capable studio.

I didn't like Bungie's attitude earlier this year, when they snobbed Xbox and their fanbase on the platform with their clear change of camp.

I hope they're successful everywhere else.

Didn't 343i make not only the lowest selling halo game of the generation, but the lowest rated one also?

It's the third highest selling Halo game, and will most likely pass Reach to become the second highest one. It is above ODST and Halo Wars in terms of metacritic, ignoring the PC releases which had much lower scores. So no.

2- It's developer's and publisher's job to cater to gamers if they want to stay relevant. No disrespect, but what kind of question is that anyway?

No where in those two comments does it imply concern over the game, we were talking about people's reactions, also you have yet to answer my previous question of, how does it doing bad on Xbox platforms benefit you?

No, If Bungie showed the slightest bit of Xbox One support then maybe MS fans would be cheering. But no, they expect to have locked in sales on Xbox just because of their name.

Good to know when its set to arrive. Looking forward to this game more than most and from the developers past and what I've seen so far it will most likely deliver.

Cater to you as in why should they have to stick with one company to make people like you feel better? The game is coming to both Xboxes. What does Bungie owe you! It's a business! These companies don't care about you. You throwing a temper tantrum because of Bungie putting their game on multiple consoles doesn't make sense. At the end of the day, Destiny will do well on the Xbox, so it really doesn't matter.

Bungie sucks. The newest iteration of a series Bungie created is going to do better than Bungie's new game.  That's what I'm seeing in this thread.


Can you find those people who said they are the best developper?  I not hear that from the release of Halo 3 (6 years ago). The hate on ODST and especially Reach was huge on the forums from Bungie.

I'm pointing out that people care less about Bungie as a developer now that they're multiconsole, not whether someone actually said they're the best developer. 

Another example.  Crytek, which people always make the comment that their games have good graphics, but are never very good.  Crytek develops Ryse, you can tell it looks like crap, but Xbox fans only see that it's exclusive.  Are you going to deny how much praise prior to release that Ryse got from this forum alone?  Then once the reviews came out, some of the Xbox fans started backpedaling.

I say this about every fanbase though.  Games on all platforms receive a ton of praise simply because they're exclusive. 

Ni No Kuni is praised because not only is it exclusive, but it's a collaboration by Level 5 and Studio Ghibli.  Nintendo has plenty of overrated titles that are praised simply because their branding.  Most people hate sports games, but if it's got Mario in the title, sports or not it's an amazing game.
