As an active car racing fan, I'm a bit disappointed in GT6, but Forza Motorsport 3 was a quality race game. Definately my favorite to date, with GT5 a close second (have yet to play GT6)
Forza 4 was terrible though, free upgrades, made the game boring.

They where a bit too easy to get but it didn't make the game borig I rather spend my in game credits on more cars then extra parts.

I agree, it's not perfect, but it's better then grinding like in GT5, and it's better then free upgrades which resulted in completely arbitrary performance index races in Forza 4.

In GT5 the seasonal events make it too easy to earn a lot of money even if you don't finish in the top 3 you will still make a very good amount of money in a pretty short amount of time. What really takes a lot of time in GT5 is for the car that you still don't have to reapear in the used car dealership it also sucks that it has a $20 million credit bank limit you can't horde money. I'm glad that all the cars are available from the begining in GT6 since they got rid of the used car dealership.

You're right again, the amount of grinding inGT5 was significantly reduced from GT3 and GT4.
However what bugged me the most about GT5, was that you could complete 90% of the game, with just 3 cars. A fully modified Nissan GT-R, a Race Modified Corvette Z06, and the Formula car. The leftover races were specific to country/drive train, but were also easy to win.
Anyway GT5 is an excellent game, but I still have to say Forza 3 was better. Looking forward to GT6 though because Forza 3 and GT5 are old games, and it's been a while since something else good released.
