I'm not really a fan of coconut in general.

All I know is it tastes a lot like semen. No further comment.

At least don't drink pure coconut milk cause it's laxative which obviously is a bad idea when it's hot and humid :P

Chinese stores usually have the actual young coconut ready for cracking.

I went to Dominican republic once.
I climbed in a tree there to get a coconut. It really took me an hour to get it cuz it wasn't the best tree.
When I finally got it my friend tried to open it. So he hit it with a rock. The coconut cracks open, but falls on the beach.. All the water gone and the crunch that eatable thing, whatever it's called) was full with sand.

So no.. Never tried coconut water.

thats impossible to drink coconut water like that,

do it like me, when i was little like 10, i tried to open one with a machete, almost cut my finger off, i got a little scar to this day funny times lol.
