I went to Dominican republic once.
I climbed in a tree there to get a coconut. It really took me an hour to get it cuz it wasn't the best tree.
When I finally got it my friend tried to open it. So he hit it with a rock. The coconut cracks open, but falls on the beach.. All the water gone and the crunch that eatable thing, whatever it's called) was full with sand.
So no.. Never tried coconut water.
