If the Wii was $50, would it sell more than a $250 PS3? That is a far more fair question to ask.

Also, could sony afford losing $10s billions? I don't think so.

I think the Wii would still be in the lead. The PS3 would win Others, but that's about it.

PS3:

America - 6m units sold
Others - 7m units sold
Japan - 3.5m units sold

Worldwide - 15.5m units sold. The PS3 would be in stock, however, unlike the Wii.

I think the PS3 would win overrall in the long-term, but the Wii would dominate it at first.
