What I want to know is how many times the word xbox has been said.

415million achievement points earned? lets say there is 2million units sold already that means that each system has earned a total of 207 achievement points each? Considering the other numbers garnered here and how Happily most games give out achievements this means 1 person is doing a hell of a lot of zombie killing and laps in forza long after he has gotten his 1000 points out of the game.

Either that or I've gotten my maths completely wrong here which is very possible because it is 5.49am here and I am so overdue some sleep.

Edit : Saying that, the huge number of Zombies broken into 8million people given that around 1 in 4 people who got an xbox would buy dead rising 3 I'd guess will mean that each person killed 6000 zombies which does sound about right for 2 million Xbox's world wide.

someone at MS must think this interesting to someone. To me they are pointless referenceless numbers.

From some of the streams of it with Kinect... quite a lot :D altho to be fair people get mad at the thing for not getting it the first time and just start to yell at it and if it doesn't pick it up when you say it calmly it's not going to have a hope to pick up what you are saying while ranting.

I can't believe some of you guys are hating on this.
I like to read these stats and MS publishes them every now and then. This is not a weak counter to Sonys sales numbers at all.

it's not really a battle of anything really, just a company coming out with a press statment about numbers that their new system is doing, you would tend to expect more than "how many rotations the combined fans in all the units have spun since launch" or "how many spins of the blue ray for forza has done in the drive combined" there really isn't much of a point to them.

Especially given that things such as miles driven in forza is just going to be wrong, not all the systems are connected to XBL so there are thousands of uncounted miles, means it's just a completely incorrect arbitary number.
