When I get my PS4, the first thing I will do is sharing gameplay with my friends.

It'll be an even bigger hit when the only options aren't Facebook and Twitter. I think I've only shared 3 of the 5 bagillion screenshots so far. I'd rather have the option to get them off of my HDD myself rather than posting them on social media.

Exactly. I got plenty screenshots but I'm not going to upload them to facebook, then save them to pc. I hope they make the videos and screenshots accessible like on ps3. Simply copy to USB stick or network device. I tried messaging them to a ps3 system, but they don't arrive.

The number isn't really impressive if you think about how many people have the system, how long it's been out, and the fact that there is no doubt going to be a bunch of people who have pressed that button over a hundred times.

I find it strange that yesterday I was reading people on here claiming that the stats MS made public about miles raced, and zombies killed were nothing but an insult to people's intelligence, and a deflection to avoid talking about sales, yet some of those same people are posting in this thread about how awesome it is that Sony released a stat on how many times a button was pushed.

What am I missing?

OT: I'm glad to see that the feature is being used and enjoyed. I personally enjoy watching videos of awesome kills, or incredible kill streaks, or amazing lap times, etc.

Edit: Out of curiosity, what is the maximum recording length for a video using this feature?

svennoj asked what the sales were, and here was responding to the share button feature seeming low. As he pointed out in teh other thread, SOny already revealed its numbers.

So, I guess if you wanna be taciturn in your accusation, I guess you could consider svennoj as that offender, but one person is still far from the definition of "people", so I'll have to call you on that as well.

It's 15 minutes maximum recording, or you can stream as long as you want.
Kinda neat to check out the live streams before turning the console off. Europe came online and immediately FIFA was the most watched from then on.
