No it has nothing to do with my profile picture,IMO playstation and nintendo have the best games but saying no one can make better games than nintendo that are equally good wheter he was joking or not is just ridiculous and not true.

this is more of a thing on personal preference than anything else though.

Impossible for two reasons;

1: No one makes better games than Nintendo, or games that are equally good.

2: Nintendo doesn't care about textures, that's the concern of the stupidheads that play other consoles.

Rare did some amazing work on the N64, Goldeneye is by far the best and most local multiplayer fun I ever had on a console along with Turok and Mario Kart 64. The N64 was a magnificent console and had some amazing games. I still have mine and in working condition!

Lol ok you gotta to be freaking kidding me right?! o.O

with a profile pic like yours i understand why you must think so.

When someone says the words "better" or "beat", you can safely assume he's spouting off an opinion.

Even Nintendo copies Nintendo.

I don't think there was a developer alive that wasn't jealous of DKC. It was so far beyond anything else.

Maybe the desire from both Rare and Nintendo to best each other is what made their N64 games so good.

This makes the most sense to me. I think both Nintendo and Rare benefited from the relationship, and the N64 library was bolstered by friendly competition.

That being said, if Nintendo were to be envious of a game studio, it might as well be Rare 1994-2001. I can't think of another studio, outside of EAD, that has had a better run.

Yes and no. It's a sort of jab but simultaneously I think it rings somewhat true. At least if one considers continuity and average quality of published titles and the fact thay they've been at it for so long. Mind you, they're not my favorite developer but I'd be hard pressed to say that my favorite is technically better, due to the above mentioned factors.

I'm perfectly able to objectively admire someones work despite not putting their efforts at the top of my wishlist, in the same way I can admire and appreciate people who have differing opinions to mine but present them in a great way or a salesman that is terrific at his job despite not selling something I like (Steve Jobs is one example).

I know you weren't 100% serious about that nor was my respond to you i didn't take it very seriously but i just had to say something! xD you know after playing TLOU,GTA V,Infinite,Rayman legends this year. Yes i'm pretty much sick of countless mario and pokemon games i'm not gonna lie i lost interest in nintendo a long long time ago but i still think they are awesome, and i'm really looking foward to the new SMB. MEGA MAN!!

I haven't had much interest in Nintendo myself since the Wii era began but they're still making amazing games in my opinion. The problem for me is that they have sold them on uninteresting platforms (in my opinion) since the Wii came. I consider them to be, allround, the best developer we have/have had, their pedigree stretches so far back and includes so many classics.

There are some newer companies that are blowing me away as well though, Naughty Dog is one of them, I'm a huge Crash fan (my first PS title was the first Crash game), I loved the Jak games and Uncharted (despite not being a 3rd person action fan). TLoU is among my top ten console games of this gen for sure.

Agreed it's one of the best games of the 90's i still play it somethimes and diddy's kong quest, and the soundtrack is so good one of the best! it was definitely ahead of it's time.

why is it that all people who have failed recently are attacking Nintendo? have they been waiting for this moment their entire life or something?

True on all accounts, and so do I.

I must add Virtua Tennis 2 on the DC to that list of great 4-player games. We played it recently again, and its still as fun as it used to be.

Nothing can beat GoldenEye. And nothing can beat local multiplayer. Seeing your friends get mad or jump of joy right next to you is priceless.

He isn't attacking anyone, he's just bragging. And considering what Rare managed to do back then he's certainly earned the rights to do so.
