Not sure if serious?

Ok I was thinking of another "study" that popped up on the forums earlier. This one is slightly less irrelevant:

Of over 102k shopping receipts tracked by InfoScout on Black Friday, slightly over 1,500 included purchases of a gaming console or console game. The data includes purchases at all major retailers carrying electronics including Walmart, Target, Best Buy, GameStop, RadioShack, and others.

The number of receipts that include a console is left vague.

You see, statistics isn't about lying, it's about presenting data in a way that best suits the image you wish to project.

Oh, I love the shopper's quotes.

Oh, I thought it was based on like 1,000 people buying consoles.

Lots of confused people here.

This info is from a smartphone app. People with the app scan their reciets and it calculates the numbers. 3,000 people did this for target on bf and 5,000 did it for wallmart. Out of those people, only like a hundred purchased video game systems. It's horrible data.

it seems this is another study, so it isnt about the one where 12 people bought the xbox one. but this study is still about a limited number of buyers and doesnt really represent actual BF data. if it turns out to be correct it would have just been lucky to do so.

So out of Walmart and Target together you think 12 people bought an Xbox?

if it was based on 12 people it would also mean that around 2 people bought a wii-u and someone left the store with 1/3rd of a wii.... gonna be a sad Xmas for that family.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive
