Basically even after you complete the game, get all the stars and stamps, you will still have a few empty stamp slots, and you can only get them from character level completion, like, am extra box will show up after you unlock the last world, telling you which characters have completed each level when you walk over them, I'm slowly working on that one as well, not much a priority unless you are nuts like Rol.

O...K.... This kinda sucks. Kind of Nintendo artificially increasing the length of the game... and for what kind of reward in the end? Nintendo has never been good with rewarding those kind of "completionist" challenges. Basically, they give... Nothing. No new ending, no new uber cool special level, no new power... nothing. =(

So it's gonna take me a while then. =( 

Well, you can post on Miiverse with them lol, I posted one where cat Luigi is sticking his paw into the ass of a crying fairy while another one looks pissed by it so, you can do some funny shit with them haha.

All the spoiler text make it seem like there is some sort of story in the game. :p

I'm hoping to get this for christmas, I'm sure playing this with my family will be tons of fun. I suppose I could buy it now, but it won't be the same feeling.

There isn't. All they are talking about is something you would find in a kindergarten classroom. And no, it's not a poopy diaper.

OT: Dang, I thought this thread was going to be a classic back to form Rol thread that rips SM3DW a new one. I guess it's suprisingly refreshing to find another positive SM3DW thread on VGC.

Galaxy's hub, Rosalina story and soundtrack are superiors to Galaxy's 2 counterparts. The Mario ship is boring compared to the comet, the 2-3 cutscenes in first one are good and epic, while Galaxy 2 doesn't have any one interesting.

Final boss is better in the first one. There's only two thigns galaxy 2 is superior: difficulty and post game (green stars vs luigi). Nothing else.

The game is still underwhelming, sure it's fun but it didn't bring nearly enough "wow" factors like the Galaxy games brought. I was even wowed by Sunshine more than this game. After I'm done 100%-ing it, I'll probably not play it again, like I did with 3D Land.

I'll patiently wait for a real 3D Mario game.....
